Fostered & Adopted Children

Having worked in a specialist CAMHS team for looked after children, I have extensive experience of working with fostered and adopted children. I have a sound understanding of both the biology and psychology of early developmental trauma and how this impacts at many levels, including: behaviour, cognition and emotions.

I can offer consultations to the professional team around the child (please see Professional Services) as well as offering:

• Individual work with the child.

• Dyadic work with carer/adoptive parent and child.

• Individual work with the carer/adoptive parent.
